Couple therapy
Couples therapy is a form of support that can help you get out of a crisis, better understand the other person or what is happening in the relationship.
The life of a couple can be affected by many things: from those related to life events (beginning of cohabitation, first children, teenage children... among others), but also related to earthquakes and events such as separations, infidelities, moves, duels, without forgetting those behaviors of people that also influence the relationship (depression, addictions, jealousy...)
Other times, a lack of communication or perspective: we don't know what is wrong, but we are sad that things are not the same as before, is a source of discomfort. All couples go through crises and, in this context, the help of a professional can help to distance oneself from difficulties, to overcome certain blockages and to express unexpressed discomfort or suffering, or express it in a more assertive way.
Within the framework of couples therapy, I propose seeing both members of the couple at the same time, in a neutral space where they can speak freely and distance themselves... At the beginning, around several sessions (3 or 4) will be necessary. so I can explore the help I can offer in the therapeutic space.
My goal is to have the ability to understand the couple and help them find the resources they need to move forward in their relationship, allowing them to express certain things that they could not say to each other, understand each other better as individuals, better understand each other and how they function as a couple. . In this approach, it is important that partners are motivated to work on their relationship, and that neither partner feels "forced" to do so.
